    I have a 2 bed flat in a stand alone block in Brislington, Bristol. This is an ex-sheltered block and is very well looked after, clean and quiet. I am on the fifth floor with two lifts which are always working. The flat itself is bright and airy and has a large balcony. the heating is in with the rent, as is the laundry room which is used once a week on a rota basis. Very secure, and the block has parking and also a garage available for an extra £8 a week if needed. The block backs into a park (Victory Park). The buses take 10 mins to Bristol Temple Meads BR (Paddington or Waterloo) and 15 mins into City Centre. Also the other direction its a fast express bus service to Bath about 25mins. Really nice location to live, I just need to live in London (near to Highbury as possible to help out with my grandchildren). I want to move from September onwards. It's on a small estate of 4 low rise blocks and it's a very nice area. It's close to all ameneties; schools, parks, supermarket, shops, train stations and buses.     The flat is on the 4th floor - top floor - but the building can also be entered from the second floor which is actually from the main street. The bottom entrance is from the parking area. Free parking is provided by the council in front of the building. It is a large and spacious flat - all rooms are a good size. Lots of storage space and a walk-in wardrobe. The view over London is brilliant as the building is located on a hill. The block of flats leads on to Lavender Hill so very good transport connections - lots of buses right outside the house. Clapham Junction train station is close by and so is Clapham Common tube station.     We have a two bedroom 'Corporation of London' flat. In Lancaster Street, in the Blackfriars, SE1 area. It is within the congestion zone, and on the south edge of the City of London . It is in a nice, quite and small block. It is on the top third corner of the block. It has a front and back balcony, both with lots of flowers. The back balcony has a table and chairs. It leads off of the front room, and has a nice view of the Millenium Eye. The flat is newly double glazed, and has gas central heating. It also has an intercom system, with a caretaker living on site. So if repairs are needed, work is carried out quickly. It has a seperate bathroom (with a shower) and toilet. The flat also has a storage cuboard and a coat cuboard in the hallway. The flat has nice neighbours, and we have lived here for eight years and been very happy. The flat is in a very nice area, and is near to the city, South Bank, the Tate Modern, the cut markets, the Old Vic theatre, the Imax Cinema and the South Bank University. There are all kinds of resturants and takeaways situated nearby. It also has excellent transport links, and is near to Waterloo, Waterloo East, Blackfriars and the Elephant & Castle train stations. It is also near to Southwark Tube station and loads of bus routes. There are two shops on the doorstep, and also a good primary school on the doorstep. You can park on the front street with a permit, or you can pay for a car space bay, that are located at the back of the block. The reason why we are moving is because we have a small dog, and dogs are not allowed on the block. We would like to move within the London area, ideally the South East of London. We would also ideally like some outdoor space, either a garden or a nice size, back balcony. We don't want to move to any high rise blocks.
